Our R&D team consists of qualified professionals including but not limited to Veterinarians, Pharmacologists, Chemists, Microbiologists, Botanists, and Herbalists. The current focus of our R&D is Phytochemistry & Phytogenics i.e., to develop antibiotic free herbal formulations & products through an amalgamation of Ayurvedic Herbal Ingredients and Modern Scientific Technologies. Since antibiotic growth promoters have been banned by most countries and many consumers are increasingly avoiding food products that contain residues of antibiotics, Nurture’s R&D team is dedicated to developing concepts and products that are
antibiotic free as well as instrumental in improving animal health, nutrition, feed conversion rates and productivity. In this endeavour, the R&D team is supported by a qualified team of poultry, ruminant, and swine nutrition specialists.
The R&D team is well versed in identifying and developing commercially viable processes for extraction of highly bioavailable active ingredients from medicinal plants. The plant extracts generated thereof are standardized to contain known amounts of biologically active constituents. Bioactivity guided fractionations are undertaken, and active / biomarkers are isolated for the purpose of standardization for plants where active / markers are not known. These active ingredients extracted in the form of herbal extracts are beneficial for not only stimulating a particular response or function in the animals but also in controlling various diseases. Nurture’s R&D team is well equipped in formulating stable, standardized combinations of herbal extracts, natural oils etc. that are beneficial and sustainable for the animal nutrition industry.
All Nurture products are tested both in vitro and in vivo before being forwarded for field and clinical trials. Important factors like palatability, convenience of usage, dose determination, side effects and duration of treatment among other variables are tested during every clinical trial. Clinically and Pharmacological studies in association with various research institute, universities sand farms are then conducted for the verification and substantiation of the benefits of each product employing the latest in modern scientific tools. Subsequent clinical studies are conducted post product launch to improve on the products as well. Nurture’s R&D teams relentless efforts in formulating unique blends of nutritional and herbal healthcare solutions, have scientifically been proven to be an efficient alternative to allopathic system of medicine especially in those therapeutic segments where allopathic system of medicine does not provide satisfactory.
