Worm & parasite infestation is a recurrent problem particularly under hot and humid conditions. Contaminated feed, water and soil are major carriers of worms. Worms cause tremendous losses in farm animals, taking away the nutrients they consume, resulting in debilitated animals, that are more susceptible to other diseases. It also leads to fall in weight gain, egg production, hatchability, milk production and livability. Parasites can also ast as vectors, transferring diseases from one animal to another. Worms will naturally leave hosts that have a strong immune response and seek depressed hosts.
